During 25 years in Special Operations and 5 with the Department of State, always specializing in operational medicine, CEO Aric Gray received training and lived through situations most only see in adventure movies. After transitioning to corporate America, , Aric saw how complex situations adversely affect individual healthcare, particularly in crisis situations, and recognized there was a critical gap. Seeing the need, Aric gathered a unique mix of professionals who operate in the space between government and private sector, who have the acumen to predict problems, mitigate risk, and reduce complex situations down to manageable steps in the urgency of the moment.

Aric Gray founded Gray Ghost Solutions in 2019 and currently serves as the CEO. Inspired by his 30-year career in government, including executive roles at the State Department and as a Special Forces Green Beret, Aric wanted to offer his expertise and lessons learned to commercial markets.
Aric is an expert in crisis management, government relations and medical contingency operations, and has conducted sensitive operations around the world for decades. He has been recognized as a leader in frontier medicine providing crucial insight to corporate entities, government institutions and non-profits. He has deployed operationally to over 50 countries.
Before founding Gray Ghost, Aric spent two years at Banyan Risk Group serving as Managing Director, leading the global headquarters in Houston Texas. Prior to joining Banyan, Aric held the executive role of Director for Protective Medicine at the State Department where he was responsible for all medical components serving the Foreign Service, Consulates and Embassies worldwide. Before his time with the State Department, Aric served within the United States Army Special Forces as a Green Beret. In the Special Forces, Aric served as a counter terrorism and direct-action expert completing the Special Forces Advanced Reconnaissance, Target Analysis and Exploitation Techniques, Special Operations Sniper and Ranger schools.
Aric holds a master’s degree from George Washington University and a BA from Campbell University.
Josh is the Managing Director, for Gray Ghost Solutions with expertise in crisis planning, emergency/disaster response, consequence management, risk management, training and exercise design. Josh has learned to translate complex problems to create simple, intuitive plans that are flexible in dynamic environments and easily understood in the chaos of the moment.
In his over twenty-year career with the military and Department of State, Josh has conducted diverse planning efforts including the US Government’s medical plan for the Rio Olympics; the diplomatic reentry of the embassies in Libya, Yemen, and Syria; and the largest bio-containment evacuation exercise ever conducted by any organization or government. For the latter, he controlled the operation from Africa to seven hospitals across the United States. Josh has direct experience with emergency management and crisis response— most prominently responding to seven overlapping hurricane landfalls (three catastrophic) over two seasons, coordinating relief to the US embassy in South Sudan with the resumption of their civil war, and coordinating US government response during the 2015 Mali Hotel Shooting.
Josh holds a master’s degree in International Relations and graduated with distinction from the University of North Georgia, earning a BS in Biology. An avid lifelong learner, Josh studies geopolitics and routinely attends courses across multiple domains including Harvard’s Leadership in Crisis program, the Army War College’s Defense Strategy Course, Columbia University’s National Center for Disaster Preparedness courses, Combined Humanitarian Assistance and Response Team training, and the United Nation’s Humanitarian Civil-Military Coordination course.
Meghan is the Strategic Planning Director for Gray Ghost, overseeing all strategic and crisis planning for clients. Her areas of expertise include crisis operations, medical infrastructure analysis, logistics, and training program development and implementation.
Meghan has over fifteen years of government experience in the Departments of Defense and State. Prior to joining Gray Ghost Solutions, Meghan served in the Plans and Operations office for the Army, coordinating over 25 aeromedical evacuations from West Africa to the US during the Ebola Crisis. She also served as consultant to the World Health Organization to help them stand up their operations center and wrote the medical plan for the 2017 Presidential Inauguration. Earlier, Meghan spent two years preparing medical professionals to conduct expeditionary operations in the most ambiguous and austere environments.
Meghan graduated from Dickinson College with a BA in International Relations and holds a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Policy at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
Thomas Jones is an Army Veteran with 25 years of expertise in planning and executing expeditionary medical support across the globe. His experience ranges from direct combat units to the strategic level. He has supported operations in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America and has served as a Foreign Military Advisor and All-Source Medical Intelligence Analyst with the Defense Intelligence Agency.
Miriam is the Corporate Communications Director for Gray Ghost, responsible for all internal and external communications . Miriam brings over two decades of business communications, process planning and management experience at companies, both global and local.
She also serves as principal of Third Ave Strategy, where she works with businesses on messaging and business presentations. Prior to Third Ave Strategy, Miriam served in leadership roles at News Corporation and Twentieth Century Fox. During her career at Fox, Miriam was at the forefront of many first-of-their-kind initiatives, including enabling text voting for American Idol (on Fox) and branded video content on mobile phones.
Miriam received her B.S. in Mass Communications from UCLA and her M.B.A. from Loyola
Meredith Muller serves as the Legal Director at Gray Ghost Solutions. She also serves as a law professor at St. Francis Law School, teaching Contracts, Torts, Criminal Law, and Bar Review Courses. She received her BA in International Relations from Berry College and her JD from Stetson University College of Law. She has authored a textbook and has written many articles regarding legal and travel issues. She joined the Gray Ghost Solutions team in February 2020.
